Ceylon cinnamon is also known as true cinnamon and originated in Sri Lanka. It has a complex flavor and is distinctly different from all other cinnamon types. Ceylon has hints of citrus and a heat reminiscent to clove and mild pepper. It is typically found in Indian dishes and spice blends such as garam masala, providing a sweet flavor and mild heat. Bottles contain 1.8 oz of ceylon cinnamon.
